Linear motor Suspension dyno
We built a suspension dyno powered by linear motors from the ground up. That meant setting clear performance targets, talking directly with customers to understand what they actually needed, then designing and detailing the mechanics around two high-power 24kW linear motors. Baldwin remained involved through prototyping and the start of production, working directly with the parties responsible for each stage.

Engineering of a hydraulic system
We took this hydraulic system from a blank page to a working prototype. That meant nailing down exactly what it needed to do, sketching a few concepts and picking the strongest one, then running the calculations, building the 3D model and checking component strength with FEM calculations. Baldwin then prepared the manufacturing drawings and led prototype sourcing in coordination with suppliers and the test team.

Working with Baldwin
You work directly with the engineer doing the technical work.
Boudewijn Evenhuis remains hands-on with CAD, FEM and technical decisions throughout Baldwin projects. When electrical or automation work is required, specialist partners can be coordinated under Baldwin so you keep one line of communication.
Engineering was passion for Boudewijn long before it became his profession: taking mechanisms apart, programming computers and repairing motorcycles and cars. After more than two decades with the KTM Group, he founded Baldwin Concepts BV in November 2021. He is still a motorsport fan and regular mountain-bike rider.

Baldwin works with its own CAD licences and engineering workstation. The client does not need to provide extra software or office space.

Project assessment and client consultations can take place on site, and travel can be agreed around the project.

Baldwin works internationally and communicates with clients and suppliers in English and German.
