EARLY CONCEPT
You know what the machine must do.
The mechanism, packaging or architecture is still open. Baldwin can help define functions, compare concepts and work out a direction that can be engineered further.
DETAIL DESIGN
The concept exists, but it needs engineering depth.
That can mean system calculations, FMEA, 3D CAD, FEM strength checks, part optimisation or detailed manufacturing drawings.
PROTOTYPE
The design is ready enough to build, but decisions are not over.
Baldwin can stay involved with suppliers, prototype sourcing and the engineering changes that come out of testing and first builds.
ENGINEERING OUTPUT
The output should be usable by the next person in the chain.
The job is not finished when a CAD model looks right on screen. The drawings, calculations and decisions around it need to be clear enough for suppliers, builders and test teams to act on.
